GogoVideo is an online video editing tool that allows users to add music, video, graphic, and effects and create their own music video content.
They might be about to share their work with friends and potential buyer.
This feature’s included in a music streaming website.

project background
We just finished the prototype of the video editing feature.
We want to know if user flow and UI design is simple and friendly to potential users.
We needed new insights for future development.

methodology
- Unmoderated usability study
- Location: Taiwan, on-site
- Length: each session will last for 30~60 minutes, based on a list of prompts.

- Participants are between the ages of 12 and 75.
script
During the unmoderated usability study:
Each user will receive a paper sheet with a listed of prompts. Please complete them in sequence and record time your spent.
- Prompt 1: Find a specific MV and import to timeline.
- Prompt 2: Preview MV and add an image to the start time.
- Prompt 3: Add Fade-in and Fade-out to the video.
- Prompt 4: Add an effect to part of the video.
- Prompt 5: Add a tittle text at the fade-in cut and credit to the fade-out cut.
- Prompt 6: Add timestamp to the video.
- Prompt 7: Add scalable text as your logo, followed by song and singer name.
- Prompt 8: Add ticker to the video. ex. Broadcasted by_______.
After the unmoderated usability study:
Participant will rate the usability scale (1~5) and provide open suggestion.
